About EatByGoals

EatByGoals is a nutrition website built around one simple idea: food advice should fit your goal.

Most nutrition sites tell you a food “is healthy” and stop there. We go further. Every food guide on this site shows how the same food fits three different goals: weight loss, weight gain, and muscle building, with the portions and preparation that match each one.

What You Will Find Here

  • Food guides with real numbers. Every food page starts with a quick answer, then gives you complete nutrition data per 100g and per typical serving: calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, and the key vitamins and minerals.
  • Goal-based guidance. Each guide includes separate sections for weight loss, weight gain, and muscle building, so you can see exactly how that food works for your goal.
  • Free calculators. Our calorie calculator, protein calculator, and BMR calculator help you set your daily targets in under a minute. They use the Mifflin-St Jeor equation and widely used protein ranges for active adults.
  • Honest downsides. No food is perfect. Every guide includes the caveats: mercury in tuna, sodium in cottage cheese, sugar in dried fruit, and portion traps in healthy fats like peanut butter and almonds.

Our Sources

Nutrient values come from USDA FoodData Central. Health guidance points to public sources such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Where research findings are mentioned, we describe the type of evidence behind them so you can judge their strength yourself.

What This Site Is Not

EatByGoals is an educational resource, not medical care. The information here is general and is not a substitute for advice from your doctor or a registered dietitian. If you have a medical condition such as diabetes, kidney disease, an eating disorder, or heart disease, please work with a qualified professional on your personal nutrition plan.

Why We Built This

People do not eat “nutrients.” They eat meals, on busy days, with real budgets, while trying to lose fat, gain healthy weight, or build muscle. Nutrition content should respect that. EatByGoals exists to connect trustworthy food data with the goal you actually have, in plain language, without fad diets or miracle claims.
